Marco Beria

As a visual artist, I have been ideologically influenced primarily by the Dada movement from which I have gained a surrealistic vision. This is particularly apparent in my still life panel paintings, where insects, animals and body parts are depicted in a bizarre and eclectic way. These works explore themes of nature and metamorphosis. Later, in paintings such as “Spinning Granny” and "Hopperville", I apply repetition and movement to iconic Pop imagery to create a kaleidoscopic effect.

In terms of technique, I prefer minimalist compositions and the use of a sequential color palette. My brushwork tends to be very sharp, marked by meticulous attention to detail.

My recent work has evolved into exploring a more geometrically abstract, yet organic approach, utilizing atmospheric and natural elements. Examples of these works are found in the series "The Four Seasons" and "Natural Elements".
